Episode Sixteen: Mo Lowda and the Humble

Philly’s Mo Lowda and the Humble made their way to Nashville for a few days. We chatted about their music, their influences. Jordan talked about his first boner and his affection for NOW compilations, and when I asked him a serious question – their bass player Jeff made a fart noise that ruined the moment. It was beautiful.

Episode Fifteen: Ron Gallo

Ron Gallo and his mates Joe Bisirri and Dylan Sevey dropped by for a chat about how to survive modern earth and “become a fortress of good,” how their band got their name, and their secret dream of releasing a special version of Heavy Meta dedicated to animals. We also talked about the time he played a live song in the center of a downtown Nashville Intersection.

Episode Fourteen: Emily Keener

My wondrous old friend Emily visited us down here in Nashville, and we caught up and chatted about all the good things – Emily’s development since putting out her first record at a young age, her development in and around Wakeman, Oberlin, and Norwalk, OH, and her time as a top-10 qualifying contestant on NBC’s The Voice.
